Britt Englund was born and raised in Southern California. From day one there was never a doubt in her mind that she wanted to persue a career as a chef.

After graduating high school and attending community college she headed north to the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. After graduating from CCA, Britt stayed in San Francisco and worked at several top restaurants in the city including Boulevard and Jianna. Wanting to be closer to her family motivated Britt to move back to Los Angeles. Upon her arrival she interviewed with Alain Giraud and was immediately hired as part of the opening team at Bastide restaurant. After working at Bastide Britt moved on to become the sous chef at an exclusive Santa Monica Beach Club. Britt has enjoyed working for a variety of talented chefs and discovered her passion for food, service, and the restaurant industry as a whole.

Britt has recently joined the factor team assisting Dave Danhi with the culinary placements. By making this career move Britt has gained substantial knowledge of the restaurant industry and is able to maintain her passion for food and restaurants by helping great chefs find great jobs.
